Flight Safety is responsible for developing specific rules of safety launcher flight, performing risk assessments, to verify the proper functioning of the interventional device, and to achieve neutralization of the launcher if it becomes dangerous. Regular workouts are performed to prepare Flight Safety Operators for all kind of situations and critical environments, depending on all different typed of missions. Up to now these ‘Flight Safety’ trainings were executed with the operational system using parameter files catalog and limited functionalities. The new system, ‘EMUL SIMULTAOR’ allows operational teams to train Flight Safety without the need to block the operational systems and should also allow more flexible preparation and conduct of training or simulations. EMUL system provides a specific post to the instructor of the simulation session, the position control simulation and enables fault injection on telemetry data and location as well as the measurements assets (antennas, receptors, comm. Links, etc..). EMUL prepares simulations and associated data, and changes in real time via the position of the instructor. Moreover it exports all the simulation results to the operational systems.
