The eWAS flight weather awareness solution application is new to the market, and it is already making an impact on the aeronautics industry. We are thrilled to share the news that over 40 air carriers worldwide are currently testing eWAS. Our application offers numerous benefits for pilots, aeronautics companies and passengers alike. It brings much-needed improvements to flight planning by offering real-time, highly accurate weather information that can be consulted at any stage of flight. The air carriers testing eWAS right now include Air China, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and South African Airways. Air France has already signed an agreement to partner with eWAS, and will be deploying the application for use by 3,700 of its pilots in early 2017. eWAS is also being tested by more than a thousand pilots, including 200 from Air France. One A320 pilot from a major airline who tested the application told us, "I don't think anyone would prefer paper flight plans to this", and another commented "It's the only app you'll want to look at as a pilot to get a good view of the weather." The new version of eWAS, version 2.2, will be released shortly. The eWAS application is currently available for download for both iOS and Windows devices. It will be free until March 2017.
