On Sunday, a group of professionals from GTD Cádiz took part in the XI Marcha Contra el Cáncer—an event that brought thousands of people together across the city to support cancer research and raise awareness. GTD facilitated participation for all team members who wished to join, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the community it is part of.

The eleventh edition of the Marcha Contra el Cáncer once again transformed Cádiz into a vibrant display of solidarity. Streets filled with families, friends, associations and local companies walking side by side in a large “pink wave,” a recurring symbol of the city’s engagement with health-related causes. This year, part of the GTD Cádiz team also joined the initiative, contributing to a morning defined by unity and civic spirit.
For GTD, participation went beyond attending the event. The company provided registration bibs for all team members interested in taking part, ensuring that anyone who wished to support the cause could do so. It was a simple gesture, but one that reflected GTD’s intention to stay connected to the people and the environment surrounding its day-to-day work.
The team experienced a lively atmosphere throughout the walk, marked by favourable weather and the collective motivation that has turned this march into one of Cádiz’s most recognisable solidarity events. For many participants, including GTD employees, the morning served as a reminder of the value of collective action—how individual contributions, when combined, can generate meaningful impact.
The event also underscored the importance of corporate involvement in the social fabric of the cities where companies operate. GTD Cádiz has continued to strengthen its presence in the region, and joining initiatives such as the Marcha Contra el Cáncer aligns naturally with its long-term engagement with local communities.
As the march concluded, the sense of shared purpose lingered. For GTD, this edition reinforced a clear conviction: supporting community-driven initiatives is not only a responsibility—it's an opportunity to grow alongside the city and contribute to causes that truly matter.
