Air France will officially be deploying eWAS to 3,700 of its pilots beginning in early 2017 as part of our new partnership with them. We are thrilled that eWAS will be joining them on board their flights. This makes Air France the first airline in the world to offer their pilots weather analysis on a tablet device for flight preparation. eWAS will enable their pilots to receive real time data about weather conditions to help them better plan their flights. Air France's chairman and CEO, Frédéric Gagey, explained, "By significantly improving the pilot’s knowledge of the weather conditions, Air France will offer its passengers safer and more comfortable flights." Currently, about 200 pilots from Air France are testing the application and giving the eWAS team feedback to continue improving the app's capabilities. eWAS is fully integrated with Air France's existing application that they currently use to give pilots information about their flights. When the app is fully deployed, eWAS will be used on more than 800 flights daily. We would like to thank Air France for partnering with eWAS and look forward to seeing our application in use on flights early next year. eWAS is currently available for free for iOS and Windows devices for a limited time.
