Last June, three members of the Ministry of Defense's Industrial Inspection Department visited the GTD Cádiz and GTD Barcelona facilities to audit our defense activities and renew the PECAL/AQAP-2210 "NATO Software Quality Assurance Requirements, supplementary to PECAL-2110" certification. This certification, issued exclusively by the Ministry to companies of interest, of which there are only 14 in Spain, reaffirms GTD's status as a qualified supplier to the Ministry and endorses its capabilities as a provider of Information Systems, Equipment, Components, and Systems within the NATO environment, also facilitating our access to tenders from countries that do not belong to the Treaty. The PECAL/AQAP-2210 standard seeks to ensure software quality throughout its entire lifecycle, expanding the functionality of quality systems and providing greater guarantees and confidence to all stakeholders involved in its design and development, as well as its production and final use. As the standard itself indicates in its prologue, quality management throughout the software development process is key to achieving software quality in complex, mission-critical computer systems, such as weapons systems, communications systems, and command and control systems. Its implementation ensures confidence in the supplier's ability to meet contractual requirements, consolidates quality management, and contributes to the desired continuous improvement. We also congratulate GTD International SAS (GTD France) on its recent inclusion in the GTD Group's ISO 9001 certification. This certification covers the specification, design, development, maintenance, and service delivery of advanced information systems. Among other advantages, this certification gives them the opportunity to reach clients who increasingly require certified suppliers, increase their sales potential in the European Union, improve their own quality systems, documentation, and supplier performance, and also generate greater trust between suppliers and customers.
