Maximising armoured vehicle capabilities for current operations and future threats Under this title, The International Armoured Vehicles conference & exhibition has run since 07-10 February at London's ExCeL centre. International Armoured Vehicles is the only international exhibition & conference dedicated exclusively to the armoured vehicle community; bringing together senior military and industry figures, providing opportunities to gain expert insights on armoured vehicle trends, global procurement activity and lessons learnt from the battlefield; as well as conduct business with the world's leading vehicle, system and component manufacturers and smaller specialist suppliers. Mike Duckworth, Nexter Systems’ International Director, had a very interesting intervention where he stated the good performances of the VBCI (the baseline for Ibersystems de Defensa’s VBR 8x8 proposal) in the actual operational theatres where are deployed. He also showed the roadmap for the future of Nexter Systems, where he presented the different partnership established for developing the exports market; being GTD the very first on the list.
