GTD, in partnership with Telespazio, has been awarded a multi-million contract for the creation of the IT infrastructure of the European Spaceport Operations Center. This achievement represents a milestone in GTD's long-standing collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES), the French Space Agency. The project, known as iCDO, is of paramount importance to the European space industry and to GTD. GTD's contribution to the project will be fundamental, as it will be responsible for designing and developing the entire IT infrastructure. This will include the implementation of control rooms that will allow the centralized and flexible operation of all launchers to be launched from Kourou Space Center. GTD's role in the iCDO project will be particularly challenging from a technological point of view, as it will rely on cutting-edge technologies such as hyperconvergence and virtualization, as well as on the development of critical real-time software. This software will be fundamental for interaction with telemetry and tele-location systems, which include the use of radars for precise tracking of launchers. The new Operations Center's main objective is to improve the overall performance of the Kourou space base by unifying all the players involved in a launch campaign in one place. Currently, the surface area of the European Spaceport is comparable to that of the island of Martinique, and various actors are scattered in different parts of the base. The new center will provide greater efficiency and coordination for all launch operations. At GTD, we are delighted to be part of this flagship project that will strengthen Europe's position in space exploration. Our technology expertise and our long-term collaboration with ESA and CNES will allow us to play a key role in building the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure for the new Operations Center. This 40 M€ contract will represent a momentous step in achieving the goals of the European space industry and demonstrates the company's continued commitment to technological innovation and excellence in the execution of large-scale projects.
