Ariane 5 getting out from the BAF building Large infrastructures with numerous buildings spread over large areas are needed to launch Ariane5 rockets from French Guiana. Temperature and humidity conditions of this French Department in Amazonian lands make the environmental control of these facilities to be extremely important and critical. The base air-conditioning system is in renewal process to address obsolescence and to make these Air-conditioning systems more efficient and greener by reducing energy consumption. The KELVIN project will centralize the production of cold water in a building, to be distributed to the entire base. This Involves dismantling three of the old production plants, and renewing and renewing and expanding the CDL3 production plant. GTD is responsible for renovating the control system for all these new equipments. With a length of more than two years, the project consists of several intermediate stages and partial adaptations, so that this renewal shall to compatible with the launch base schedule.
