GTD to develop the Star Tracker Controller for EOS Mission

EOS is an internal OHB project which consists on the development of an electrical model of a generic satellite platform, to be used as preparation for future project. GTD is in charge of the development of EOS Star-Tracker controller for this mission. Star sensors measure precisely the current attitude of the satellite. It uses an optical system and a detector to generate images of the celestial sphere. This image is digitally processed and with the aid of a star catalogue the stars are identified and tracked. With this information it deduces the attitude of the satellite.
