22 @ Network, the Association of Enterprises and Institutions of 22 @ Barcelona, has just set up an Innovation Committee with the goal of building a local innovation system reference generator processes, products and services. The aim of this network is leading in turn to give answers to the challenges of society and provide the necessary elements for a competitive and differentiated positioning in the global market "22@Barcelona is the main project of Barcelona city, witch transforms two hundred hectares of industrial land of Poblenou into an innovative district offering modern spaces for the strategic concentration of intensive knowledge-based activities. This initiative is also a project of urban refurbishment and a new model of city providing a response to the challenges posed by the knowledge-based society. GTD built up its headquarter in 22@Barcelona at the very beginning of this project , 10 years ago.It is the most important project of urban transformation of Barcelona city of the last years and one of the most ambitious of Europe of these characteristics, with a high real state potential and a 180 million Euros public investment of infrastructure plan. Together with GTD, the rest of companies members of this network are : A5 Security Consulting Group, Barcelona Media-UPF, Bau-Escola Superior de Disseny, Fundació Digitalent, Digital Spot, Dirección Creativa, Barcelona Digital Centre Tecnològic, Grupo ICA, Institut Municipal d’Informàtica, KIMbcn, Schneider Electric España, T-Systems i UOC.
