SEOSAT/INGENIO program is devoted to provide high resolution multi-spectral land optical images to various Spanish civil, institutional and governmental users and potentially to other European users in the frame of GMES (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) and GEOSS (Global Earth Observation System of Systems). GTD develops for Astrium (Prime Contractor), the Seosat Central Software (CSW) is the software running on the Seosat On-Board Computer and it is responsible for commanding and controlling the overall spacecraft, platform and payload. It performs the following main functions • DMS which provides computer hardware resources configuration, HW drivers and all necessary services for on-board TC/TM • System which implements the satellite high-level modes management including transitions between those modes initiated either on nominal on-board event • AOCS modes, TC/TM and equipments management, spacecraft algorithms, functional monitoring algorithms and recovery procedures • Platform mode and TC/TM management. • Payload modes, TC/TM and equipment management.
