Budapest, Hungary Data Systems In Aerospace (DASIA), is the International Space System Engineering Conference that focuses on computer-based applications and technologies – hardware and software for air, Space and on-ground. Themes will include applications of growth potential, as well as applications of complexity, safety and (eg. communication, Earth observation, remote sensing, guidance and navigation, autonomy, robotics and manned Space). The yearly DASIA conference was formally held for the first time in 1996 but is in direct continuation of the ‘Ada in Aerospace’ Conference arranged yearly since 1990 and the ‘On-Board Data Management Symposium’ organized several times during the same period. The DASIA conference is organized by EUROSPACE, the association of European space industry. The focus of the conference is computer-based applications and technologies – hardware and software – for aerospace in air/space and on ground. Non-space industry and academia are strongly encouraged, however, to present their results from other applications with similar technological base and requirements for high reliability and complexity – such as transport and telecommunications. The DASIA conference discusses the state of-the-art of the technologies and methodologies for development and operation of systems, software and hardware components related to computer-based data retrieval, processing and exploitation in aerospace, telecommunication and other areas of high reliability and complexity. Ernest Cañamares and other GTD personnel were presenting papers on our expertise in this area, using this event to strengthen relationships with clients and prospects.
