GTD has recently conceived an assistant or ePartner based on artificial intelligence and augmented reality techniques that are capable of guiding astronauts of future manned missions of planetary exploration in interpreting material they are not experts in, such as engineering, medicine or psychology, in the aim of aiding the astronauts in various circumstances or possible crisis situations. The astronaut crew in future space missions will address unique “decision support” challenges: - Autonomy - Awareness - Understanding The GTD’s platform is based on KES technology © , a GTD’s registered technology which performs: Decision making and decision support systems, Optimization and evolutionary programming, Dynamic modelling of complex processes, On-line and predictive diagnose, Data fusion, &c GTD has realized this R&D program in the “Disonancias” initiative. DISONANCIAS is a platform aimed at companies, research centers or public entities interested in collaborating with artists in order to promote their innovation: DISONANCIAS acts as a mediator for: Creating a support framework for knowledge exchange and the creation of innovation process between artists and organizations Generating a methodology to facilitate teamwork Maintaining project monitoring Proposing management and evaluation tools Two external researchers, Katerina Chryssantopoulou and Benoît Durandin have collaborate with the “Eight Passenger” project
