GTD is undertaking major steps on the frame of the future Ariane 6 Launch Pad. In the last weeks, our teams are successfully passing in factory validations and partial on site validation. All is on the road to provide an exceptionally optimised European launch base, able to simplify launch operations while keeping the level of safety and reliability reached on previous Ariane, Vega and Soyuz programmes. Our teams are currently happily pretty busy managing the onsite deployments in Europe and in French Guiana and at the same time completing and validating further versions in an incremental way. The final objective is to complete the overall launch base and start the combined tests with ground systems and launcher working together. Ongoing contracts with CNES and ArianeGroup managed under GTD responsibility cover the following main topics: Ariane 6 control center; Ariane 6 fluidic systems control system; Ariane 6 ground safety systems; Ariane 6 telemetry acquisition and management system The amount of these contracts is close to 50M€! More news to come in the next months!
