Carlos Kinder (CEO GTD - Right) and Minister Mena (Left) The Catalonian Minister for Enterprise and Labour, Francesc Xavier Mena visited recently GTD’s headquarter in Barcelona. Minster Mena pointed out that GTD’s business is strongly depending on National or International programs reffered to areosoace and defense sectors. He eard from GTD’s President , Mr Angel Ramirez, that the commitment to those program is heavely returned economically. The objectif data is, for sopace, every euro invested in ESA generates almost 8 euros of economical (and high added value) activity(direct and indirect. Meanwhile in defense, parameters are very close (multiplier is close to FIVE). Conseller Mena declared the government’s commitment to “position Catalonia as a leading region in aerospace and defense , innovation and research projects”, and to make this single sector a driving force in Catalonia’s economy. The minister also expressed his thanks to GTD for its outstanding leadership round European market and he highlighted the importance of this local economical activity almost always driven in cooperation with European leader companies.
