What Is SpaceUp?
SpaceUp is a two-day “unconference” dedicated to space topics. Unlike traditional conferences, participants actively shape the event:
- Attendees propose and vote on session topics
- Anyone can give a talk or present a demo
- Roundtables and panels are moderated by participants
- The final schedule is decided collaboratively
This dynamic format ensures that sessions are relevant, engaging and community-driven.
The “T minus 5” Format
One of the highlights of SpaceUp is the popular “T minus 5” session format.
Each speaker presents:
- 20 slides
- 5 minutes total
- Slides auto-advance every 15 seconds
This fast-paced, informal structure encourages creativity, spontaneity and the exploration of diverse space-related topics.
