On October 17, the second symposium on “GroundBased Space Facilities” took place in Toulouse, France, with a strong participation by gtd in the various presentations. The symposium brought together various experts in the field of space facilities, including technicians and managers from NASA, JAXA, ROSCOSMOS, and CNES. This year, the symposium featured the Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) as its space guest. GTD had the opportunity to present three interesting articles in fields as important to the space sector as the architecture of future spaceports and launch centers. It has consolidated its position as the leading Spanish company in the development and advancement of the launch site sector and one of the leading companies in Europe. Three people from our team represented the company at the event: Amaya Gamarra presented the new control benches for Ariane 6, one of the most important projects in gtd's space department. Eduard Diez explained the progress of the new ALTAIR micro-launcher. And finally, Joan Garrido demonstrated the new technologies that will be integrated into the new Jupiter 2 Control Center at Europe's Spaceport. As a result of the presentation, we had the opportunity to network and engage in very interesting discussions with personnel from NASA, JAXA, and the Swedish Space Corporation, among others.
