Ewas Solution attended the EBACE 2018 event in Geneva

We are thrilled to announce that last week, part of our eWASSolution team presented the solution in the major European event focused on business aviation from the 29th to the 31st of May. The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) is a premier event and the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community. The exhibition brings together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, flight department personnel, avionics firms, fractional providers, charter/lease companies and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation. Our team presented the EFB Weather service that uplinks weather forecasts and nowcasts directly on the EFB integrated in the cockpit. Complementing the embedded weather radar, the EFB provides a clear view of the current and future weather hazards few hours ahead. The enhanced situation awareness allows a better strategic navigation that will contribute to a safer and more comfortable flight. Fuel saving is also expected thanks to a better preparation of the re-routing to avoid bad weather conditions. Our Current portfolio proposes a dedicated solution for pilots “eWAS pilot” and also a solution for dispatchers “eWAS Dispatch”. This last solution allows the dispatchers to track in real time all their flights with the same view and same weather data as the pilots. Aircraft position is directly received by ACARS or ADS-B. Both solution are integrated with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) to receive the OFP. EBACE is jointly hosted each year by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the leading association for business aviation in Europe, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the leading voice for the business aviation industry in the United States. Although EBACE is the only major European event focused solely on business aviation, attendees come from as far as Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North and South America.
