GTD had the honour to host for the second consecutive year the eWAS User Forum at its headquarters in Barcelona on the 27th and 28th of September. Transavia and Singapore Airlines commented their deployment of the application and their first experiences. After several months of use and extensive deployment to over 3800 pilots, Air France confirmed all the observed returns of investment on the use of eWAS. Météo France highlighted the interest of the thunderstorm observations and their future satellite coverage. Sitaonair completed the event with a presentation on the latest onboard communication. Air France also introduced the new version of eWAS Dispatch that will be used to track its entire fleet with the weather situation. More than 10 airlines from Europe, Asia and the Middle East attended the event. GTD presented all the upcoming functionalities expected for the end of the year and for 2018. This meeting was also the opportunity to celebrate the passage of 10 000 pilots using the eWAS solution.
